This policy outlines your options for cancellations, refunds, rescheduling, and the actions taken in the event of adverse weather conditions.
Cancellations by the Customer
You may cancel your booking for a full refund if the cancellation is made at least 48 hours before the scheduled cruise departure.
To cancel:
Send your request in writing to info@athensboattour.com with your booking details. The cancellation time will be recorded as the timestamp of your email.
Cancellations received less than 48 hours before departure are not eligible for a refund.
No refund will be issued for no-shows, late arrivals, or missed pick-ups.
Refunds
Approved cancellations will be fully refunded to the original method of payment within 7 business days. Depending on your bank or provider, funds may appear in your account within 5–10 business days.
We do not offer cash refunds for online payments.
Non-refundable components may include:
- Payment gateway or transaction fees (if applicable)
- Transfer service charges (if pick-up and drop-off were provided)
- Third-party services arranged on your behalf
Rescheduling Policy
We understand that flexibility is essential. You may reschedule your booking under the following conditions:
- Requests must be made at least 48 hours before the cruise departure time
- Rescheduling is subject to availability on your preferred date
- Only one change per booking is allowed without charge
- Rescheduling within 48 hours of departure is not guaranteed
All reschedule requests must be submitted via email to info@athensboattour.com, and you’ll receive written confirmation upon approval.
In emergencies, such as medical situations, we may consider rescheduling even after the 48-hour window — but documentation may be required.
Weather Policy
The safety and well-being of our guests and crew are our top priorities. Our cruises depend on favorable sea and weather conditions.
Our experienced Captain and Operations Team constantly monitor weather forecasts. A cruise may be canceled or its route adjusted in the event of:
- Strong winds
- Rough sea conditions
- Thunderstorms or heavy rain
- Low visibility
- Port authority restrictions
In Case of Bad Weather
If weather conditions do not allow the scheduled island itinerary, we may:
- Alter the route to cruise along the Athens Riviera
- Offer rescheduling for a later available date
- Cancel the cruise and offer a full refund
If the cruise must be canceled entirely, you will be notified at the earliest possible time, and you can choose between a refund or rescheduling.
We advise guests to check their email and WhatsApp the evening before departure for any updates or alerts.
Force Majeure and Other Unforeseen Events
In rare cases such as natural disasters, strikes, governmental actions, or other events beyond our control, we reserve the right to cancel the cruise. In such events, guests will receive either a full refund or the option to reschedule, based on availability.
